About celticconnexions

Celtic Connexions started in Te Aroha in 2004 and has been born out of the need by the owner to obtain local Celtic goods here in New Zealand.Being a specialist shop, I suppose it was inevitable that a city location was on the cards and so the move was made April 06 and we headed into Claudelands on the edge of Hamilton city. Now in Hamilton East I'm passionate about all types of music - a player not just of Highland bagpipes but smallpipes, whistles, and play in the Tuesday sessions at Biddies Pub in Victoria Street. It has brought a dream come true of 20 years to own and operate a shop. And it’s not just the Scottish stuff that’s fun sourcing. Welsh, Irish, Manx, Cornish, Breton and Galician items are on the list too. We have lots of experience working with Irish and Scottish companies to get you what your looking for. We carry a large selection of Celtic Jewelry and Celtic Wedding Bands. In the shop we carry many unique gifts for all your special occasions, as well as now offering a hire service on Kilts for Weddings We are very happy to be part of the Skiwis, a Jacobite historical look a like band and we are on you tube with that. Also our Tuesday night session group is a wonderful place to be gathered with fellow musios, and some of our closest friends. See us on facebook with both A dream would be to buy some land and build a Celtic Connexions castle, with a concert area and particularly a place to hold workshops and teach music and Celtic culture. And now after having a great time organising a tour back to Scotland for the `Homecoming in 2009` we have Celtic Connexions Tours as well. Follow all the happenings on our blog
